Tell your insurer if the RV is:
- Used seasonally
- Used full time
- Used as a permanent residence

RV and Boat Trailers
Illinois Mandatory Insurance rules do not currently require trailers themselves to carry separate liability insurance.
However, physical damage coverage for a trailer may still be important.
